Stove and oven repairs involve high-voltage elements — leave it to an experienced Kodiak tech. We service all brands of ranges, cooktops and wall ovens across Calgary.
Bake or broil element failure, thermal fuse, sensor, or control board fault. Deep dive →
Control board, ribbon connection, or moisture ingress behind the glass. Looks catastrophic, often isn’t — we test the chain before recommending the expensive part at the end of it.
Burner element or infinite switch failure. Quick part swap. Deep dive →
Faulty thermostat or temperature sensor — your food will thank you.
Door latch motor or control board issue.
Worn door gasket or broken hinge. Easy fix that saves energy.
Control board or touchpad failure. We source parts across the brands we service.
A stove and oven in one cabinet is a range, and ranges are grouped by what heats the top — that is what decides the diagnosis. Separate the two and you get a cooktop in the counter and a wall oven in the cabinetry. Nine layouts cover almost every kitchen.
Sealed burners over an electric or gas oven. Igniters and the safety valve are the usual faults; anything involving the gas line itself is a licensed gasfitter's work.
The plug-in coil element. Cheap and forgiving — a dead burner is often the element or the receptacle it plugs into, both inexpensive parts.
Radiant elements under ceramic glass. The switch behind the knob fails more often than the element, and a cracked top is a replacement, not a repair.
Coils and a control board under the glass instead of heating elements. Diagnosis is electronic, so the error code is the starting point.
Drop-in burners with removable grates. Igniters and burner caps are the common calls; gas line work goes to a licensed gasfitter.
Elements under ceramic glass, wired to an infinite switch behind each knob. One dead zone usually points at the switch.
Induction coils and a board beneath the glass. Fan and board faults show up as a cooktop that heats briefly and then stops.
One cavity built into a cabinet. Bake element, sensor and door hinges are the three things we replace most, and all three are reachable from the front.
Two cavities stacked in one opening, sharing a control board. Worth telling us which cavity is affected when you call — upper and lower are different parts.
We service all major stove brands sold in Canada, including:

Yes. We service glass-top ranges — burner issues, control panel faults, cracked glass assessment, and element problems beneath the surface.
Yes, it's common. The burners and oven use separate heating elements and controls. An oven that doesn't heat while burners work fine usually points to the bake element or oven thermostat.
