All Major Washer Form Factors
Modern laundry comes in seven main configurations. Each has different repair labour because the install style affects access. Here’s what we service — and the few cases where we honestly recommend something else.
Front-Load Washer
The modern standard. Front-mounted round door, larger capacity, gentler on clothes. All major brands serviced.
Top-Load Washer
Lid on top, classic mechanical or modern impeller design. Long-lived workhorses. All major brands and models.
Stacked Washer + Dryer Pair
Two separate units connected by a stack kit. Labour runs a bit higher than freestanding because the upper unit often gets disconnected for service — we quote on diagnosis.
Laundry Centre / Unitized
Single-cabinet washer + dryer (Whirlpool, Kenmore, Frigidaire-style). We service most models. On units 15+ years old, parts can be discontinued — in that case we’ll tell you honestly.
Parts availability matters
All-in-One Combo
Single unit that washes AND dries (Samsung WashTower, LG WashCombo, GE Profile ventless). We service most. Some newer ventless sealed-drum systems we’ll diagnose on arrival and quote on-site.
Newer models quoted on-site
Top-Load Washer + Stacked Dryer
Less common configuration — top-load washer on the floor, front-load dryer mounted above on a wall shelf. We service it; the install setup affects labour.
Portable Washer
Small countertop or rolling washers, common in condos. We focus on full-size laundry — portables are usually a replace-not-repair decision at this price point, and we’ll honestly say so.
